Industrial Action - Information for Students

The next dates for industrial action by both EIS-FELA National and EIS-FELA Local include Tuesday 27 April, Wednesday 28 April and Thursday 29 April 2021.  These will go ahead as planned.

Departments will be in touch with students directly to advise if their classes are cancelled or going ahead. 

The following will also go ahead as planned: 

  • The exam programme
  • Commercial training courses

Please note that no students will be disadvantaged in regards to their bursary, childcare or EMA funding as a consequence of the industrial action.

We are also currently reviewing measures and arrangements in order to minimise the impact on learning and teaching and departments will liaise with students soon to provide details. We would like to reassure students that our key priority is to ensure they can complete their qualification and move forward onto their next steps.
