Local school pupils completing their Skills for Work Creative Industries course at Forth Valley College’s Stirling Campus, have collated their work in a fantastic end of year exhibition.

Matilda Dalziel, Balfron High School, Lucia Nisbet, St. Modans High School, Ellie Nimmo Stirling High School, Breanna Rae, Stirling High School, Grace Dow, Timeea Iliuta and Judyta Musielak all Wallace High School, Kristian Don and Joshua Muir both Lornshill Academy, AJ Gilmour, Dunblane High School and Mathew Marshal who is home schooled, showed off their work on the afternoon of Friday 17 May.

During the innovative course they have all learned about the Creative Industries and developed skills in photography, ceramics, mixed media, drawing & painting and bookmaking. Several of the pupils are now set to start on full time courses after the summer having enjoyed their time at Forth Valley College, collaborating, making new friends and realising their potential.

Ewan John, FVC Art and Design Lecturer, "This has been a fantastic experience for both students and staff. The talent on show really enforces the need to build on strong links with local schools in order to make the transition to College an easy, worthwhile and rewarding experience. I think the work is very strong and look forward to seeing those starting at Forth Valley College next year."

“I would like to thank Colin Gunning – the Operations Manager in the Department of Creative, Digital and Leisure Industries for all his help in setting this up - the students really appreciated his input.”
