Digital literacy was the driving force of a presentation Forth Valley College’s George Walls gave to Stirling High School pupils recently.
George – FVC’s BSC Test Centre Manager and IT lecturer in FVC’s Business Department – delivered a talk on the benefits of the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) to around 150 senior students (S5 and S6) and staff on Friday 17 March.
George said:
“Following of from recent success in the delivery of the ECDL programme to secondary schools in Forth Valley, I was invited to Stirling High School to deliver a presentation on the benefits of digital skills focusing on the ECDL qualification to a senior phase S5 assembly as part of their course option choices. Feedback from both senior management and pupils have indicated a very successful event, and I will be supporting the programme delivery on behalf of FVC to Stirling High School pupils next session.”
