Tier 4 Information
Students on full-time, school partnership, partnership degree and Modern Apprenticeship programmes
- Learning and teaching will continue in line with a restricted blended learning approach. Only essential, time-critical activities will take place on campus.
Students on evening programmes (accredited)
- Learning and teaching will continue in line with a restricted blended learning approach. Only essential, time-critical activities will take place on campus.
Students on evening programmes (leisure)
- Leisure programmes will be moved online or rescheduled for a later date, where possible
Students on commercial training programmes
- Commercial training courses will be moved online or rescheduled for a later date, where possible. However essential, time critical training will be permitted to go ahead.
Assessments & Exams
- Assessments and exams will take place as scheduled by the College or relevant awarding body, unless otherwise advised. Physical distancing measures will be in place as required.
Transport
- Travel is permitted, including between Tiers, for essential purposes such as education and work.
- A letter is available from your line manager or your CM which you can use when travelling, although this is not mandatory.
Learning Resource Centres
- Our Learning Resource Centres will remain open for use on our Falkirk & Stirling campuses. There are already a range of processes and measures in place to ensure they can be used safely.
- The LRC in our Alloa Campus is being used as an NHS Vaccination Centre until August 2021. Alternative facilities are available.
Hospitality
- All refectories are currently closed.
- Our Gallery Restaurant based in our Stirling Campus remains closed until further notice.
Sports Facilities
- Our sports facilities will not be available for use. Curriculum teams will put alternative plans in place for any students affected by this.
Student Support
- Student support, including face-to-face support, can go ahead across all campuses where necessary in line with current processes and procedures already in place.
Vulnerable Individuals
- We will work very closely with all staff and students that are considered vulnerable or with an underlying health condition and arrangements should be discussed with their Line Manager/Curriculum Manager.
Staff
- Working from home will be the default unless a staff member is specifically requested by their line manager to attend campus.
Health and Safety
- We have a wide range of measures and arrangements in line with Scottish Government guidelines across all campuses to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, staff and visitors.
