  • Human Biology - Higher - Evening

    This course provides participants with a broad-based, integrated study of a wide range of biological topics which build on the concepts developed in the Standard Grade and Intermediate 2 Biology courses.

    This course will be delivered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

    If you are interested in studying a higher in the evening, you will be required to submit an application for consideration.

  • Intermediate Food Hygiene - REHIS - Evening

    The REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate provides a detailed understanding of food hygiene. It is suited to individuals who are already working in hospitality or catering who have existing skills and knowledge of food hygiene practices.  Individuals will gain practical skills in order to carry out activities such as the safe and hygienic handling of food in line with current legislation.

    This course will be delivered on Wednesday evenings.

    Important Information for all non UK nationals

    The College has a requirement to complete a residency check on all non-UK nationals for tuition fee purposes. When you book and pay for your course online, please be aware that you will be contacted by a member of our Student Administration team and asked to provide documents i.e. a copy of your passport; proof of your settlement status and EU share code.

    Following assessment of evidence, if you do not meet the criteria for ‘home fee status’, you will contacted and advised of any additional fee required.

    EU Nationals

    If you are currently living in the UK then you should have already applied for the EU Settlement Scheme which will allow you to continue living in the UK. 

    From 1st January 2021, if you are a national of a country outwith the UK it is most likely you will need a visa to study in the UK.  You can check if you require a visa by visiting the UK Government’s website here.  If you require a student visa, further information can be obtained at the following link.

  • Introduction to Bakery - Evening

    Are you ready to embark on a journey to bread and pastry creation? Join our delightful course designed for aspiring bakers who are eager to unravel the secrets of crafting mouth-watering bread and pastry masterpieces.

    Learn the basics of bread, as we reveal the art of crafting perfect loaves. You’ll also discover the secrets of pastry perfection and develop the skills to create flaky, buttery treats such as croissants, puff pastry and more.

    You’ll receive step-by-step guidance from our experienced lecturers, insider tips and tricks for the best results and lots of hands-on experience.

    No prior baking experience? No problem! Our course is tailor-made for beginners, providing a supportive environment where you can knead, shape, and bake your way to culinary confidence.


    This course will be delivered on a Tuesday evening depending which course you book onto.

    This course is suitable for applicants aged 16 or over.

  • Introduction to Beauty Therapy Services – Evening

    This course is a leisure college certificated programme. It will provide a taster of beauty services for anyone considering a career in the beauty industry. There is no formal assessment requirements but progress will be tracked and recorded informally. At the end of the programme applicants will use the skills they have developed to perform all three treatments on a client of their choice from start to finish.

     

  • Italian for Holidays - Evening

    Are you planning a holiday to Italy? If so, join this short course to learn basic Italian phrases and conversational skills in preparation for your holiday. Please note that this course is not eligible for a fee waiver.

    This couse is for applicants with little or no prior knowledge of Italian.
