    This exciting course will allow you develop a range of skills within the field of Graphic Design.

    You will explore a variety of techniques including printmaking, illustration, typography, photography, animation, drawing and designing using digital software.

    You will develop and enhance these skills through a series of dynamic, live projects which allow you to engage directly with clients and submit your work to international competitions.

    You will also have the opportunity to meet and listen to talks from a range of industry professionals who design and create everything from children’s books to drinks packaging.

    Throughout this course you will build an individual and professional portfolio which will be used for direct progression to our HND Graphic Design.

Whether you dream of becoming a live sound engineer, a studio guru, a post-production expert, or a sound designer for computer games, this program will give you the foundation to make it happen.

    ***PLEASE NOTE - only pupils who will be at school during session 2024/25 can apply for this course***

    The Creative Industries Course is designed to provide a qualification which reflects the knowledge and skills required for employment/further study in the wide range of sectors in the Creative Industries. It also develops an awareness of the opportunities and range of employment within a chosen sector. The Course will enable candidates to develop practical skills together with employability skills and attitudes needed to work in the Creative Industries.

    Attendance:

    Falkirk: Tuesday and Thursday (afternoons)

    Stirling: Friday (all day)

    The deadline for applications is Friday 19 April 2024 but early applications are encouraged.
