Victoria Primary and Nursery School children thought a new gift from Forth Valley College was blooming marvellous recently.
The youngsters were presented with a wooden wheelbarrow planter by Construction Lecturer Gordon Bruce, which was part of a project worked on by four students from the Secondary School Support group based at the Alloa Campus.
Gordon said:
“The wheel-barrow planter was made and painted over the past teaching block using recycled timbers. We were delighted to present it to Victoria Primary and Nursery School in Falkirk to supplement their Outdoor Kitchen environment. Many thanks go to Geirreann, Karly, Zoe and Thomas who gave their time and energy to make this for the nursery children, some of whom where pictured recently with me. I am very proud of them all.”
