Forth Valley College‘s new Principal is looking forward to welcoming new and continuing students to the start of the 2023/24 academic year from Monday 21 August.

The College currently finds itself in a positive recruitment however, there are still last minute places available on some courses – which can be found by checking the website www.Forthvalley.ac.uk  for the latest availability. Anyone currently on a waiting list, and still without a place at College, should contact FVC’s dedicated support and guidance team to discuss options.

Enrolment, which is now online, has been going well and once completed all applicants will be able to access emails, timetables, first day information, student ID card, digital campus App, plus much more.

The College is also delighted to be able to continue its free healthy breakfast and lunches for students in the new term to help through the cost of living crisis.

FVC Principal Kenny MacInnes, said: “I would like to welcome all new students, and welcome back all returning students, for academic year 2023/24 at Forth Valley College. This is a great learning community and one I am sure you’ll enjoy and benefit from being a part of. I am sure you will find your time at College transformational, I know I did, starting my career as an apprentice engineer at the old Falkirk College of Technology, so I speak from experience to encourage you to make the most of the opportunities you will find opening up for you, here at Forth Valley College – widely regarded as one of the best Colleges in the UK.

“We have learned many lessons from the past few years and are focussing on how we use these to enhance learning and teaching and to give you the best experience possible. Quite simply We Are Making Learning Work for you our students, in every aspect of your time with us. We are striving to build stronger relationships with our local communities, employers and partners, to help them realise the great value in having Forth Valley College graduates become part of their future workforce.

“I’d also like to reassure you that we have lots of support available here at the College, and we would encourage you to ask for help if needed. We will do everything we can to help you achieve your goals and you can rest assured that we will live up to our College Values of being Respectful, Innovative, Trusted and Excellent.

“But for now I can’t wait for you to start your student journey with us… we are looking forward to seeing you all very soon. Best of luck with your studies.”
