Forth Valley College MAs who work for WGM Engineering welcomed Lothian MSP Neil Findlay to their Livingston base last Friday (4 March) as part of Scottish MA Week 2016.
WGM Engineering Ltd send a total of 18 MAs – ranging from Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering to Engineering Management and Engineering Construction Design and Drafting - to the College and are one of FVC’s most valued Modern Apprenticeship (MA) partners.
Mr Findlay toured the WGM site and talked with FVC MAs, other employees and members of the management team.
WGM recently (Tuesday 1 March) celebrated their 30th Anniversary at FVC’s Falkirk Campus while congratulating four of their MAs who had completed their apprenticeships.
WGM are currently looking to recruit between 10-12 apprentices to start this academic year, though the exact disciplines are still to be decided. They recruit most of their apprentices through the college recruitment process.
