Chemical giants CalaChem Ltd held a ceremony recently to honour three graduating modern apprentices.
Airth Castle was the venue for the event on Thursday 30 June for the celebration for Jake Pirrit, Jamie Arbuckle and Marc Maley who had attended Forth Valley College while working through their apprenticeship.
The event was attended by the apprentices, their families, Forth Valley College staff, CalaChem Mentors, Apprenticeship Co-ordinators and Senior Managers.
The evening was a great success, thoroughly enjoyed by all and the proud parents greatly appreciated being invited along to such a special event. Pre-dinner speeches reflected on the success of the programme and the career opportunities afforded by completing an apprenticeship.
David Quinney, FVC’s MA Manger – Employed Status – said:
“I have known these three lads since they started their MAs and it is great to see them complete their apprenticeships and begin their full-time careers with Calachem. They really were excellent apprentices and I would like to wish them all the best in their future careers.”
Everyone at CalaChem would like to say well done to Jake, Jamie and Marc on completing their apprenticeship and securing full-time employment.
