Fun, freebies stalls and activities attracted students to Forth Valley College’s three campuses in Falkirk, Stirling and Alloa for this year’s annual Freshers’ Fairs.Packed with information and advice stalls, opportunities, clubs, societies and entertainment, the events – held on Tuesday 19 September (Alloa), Wednesday 20 September (Stirling) and Thursday 21 September (Falkirk) – were organised by the Forth Valley Student Association (FVSA) and had something to offer for students of all tastes and interests.Steve Kemlo, FVSA Student President, said: “Once again these great events have attracted loads of students, at all three campuses. It seemed that everyone who come along really enjoyed the entertainment and festivities on display. I would go as far to say that it has been the best fresher's that I have attended as the level of engagement was wonderful to witness. Students were given the opportunity to complete a feedback form so we can make future events bigger and better.”Kirsten Kennedy, FVSA Vice Principal, said: “It was fantastic to see the level of engagement from attending FVC departments, local and national businesses and other organisations and of course FVC students. We (the FVSA) would like to express our thanks to all those who attended and were involved with this successful event.”
