Forth Valley College once again welcomed visitors from a further education college in Eastern France this week.
The architectural students from the Lycée Carriat College in Bourg-en-Bresse were treated to a tour of the Falkirk Campus and took part in an architectural survey exercise as the sun shone on the morning of Tuesday 19 April.
This French college have been making Forth Valley College’s Construction Department one of their first ports of call – over the past nine years - when they bring new students across to see various sites in Scotland.
Construction Curriculum Manager Charles Cameron said:
“They have visited us both at Falkirk and the Stirling Campus. It is always a pleasure to see them and share best practice.
“We arrange collaborative theory and practical work with our lecturer Stephen Stirrat, myself and students from the engineering groups. We also help them with appropriate construction site visits and give advice on local Scottish visitor attractions for their future visits. We hope in the future it might be possible for some of our students to reciprocate and go to France to visit them.”
