College announced as finalists in Veterans Awards

Forth Valley College has been announced as a finalist in the 2024 Scottish Veterans Awards !

FVC is one of four finalists in the Charity Sector Employer of the Year category (sponsored by Prestonfield House) at the awards ceremony to be held on Wednesday 24 April at the five star Prestonfield House in Edinburgh.

Hosted by Radio DJ for British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) Scotland presenter Mark McKenzie, the awards dinner will also support The ABF The Soldiers’ Charity Scotland.

The College are up against three other finalists on the night: Scotland’s Bravest Manufacturing Company; Sight Scotland & Sight Scotland; and Wings for Warriors.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Veterans Awards, said: “Well done to everyone who has been shortlisted as finalists. We had hundreds of applications and the shortlisting process was extremely difficult. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who put forward nominations.

“We want to inspire our future service leavers that great things can happen. It’s you who will act as role models and in some cases mentors, remember ‘Positivity breeds Positivity’.”
