Methods of Delivery

Virtual Training

Virtual Training is delivered via video conferencing software Zoom which enables our highly experienced trainers to fully engage with all participants. Training can be delivered one-to-one or in groups up to a maximum of 6. Our trainers are happy to discuss the format of training and any security concerns. For more detail on security features please see https://blog.zoom. us/wordpress/2020/03/20/keep-uninvited-guests-out-of-your-zoom-event/

Flexible Online Learning

Flexible Online Learning courses are fully online and we have an extensive range of options. As long as candidates have access to the internet and a smart phone, tablet, laptop or PC they can complete these courses. Courses can be completed at any time to suit the candidate.

SVQ

Candidates can undertake a work-based learning qualification even when working from home, using our flexible online e-portfolio programme One File. Candidates can work on their qualification along with a college assessor by completing question blocks, reflective accounts, video evidence and professional discussions via Microsoft Teams. It does not matter where you work in Scotland, or the hours that you are currently working, you can work towards these qualifications right now. Each SVQ has slightly different requirements in relation to work-based evidence which will be discussed in detail prior to commencement.
