NC Technical Support
This course is a SCQF level 6 course which will provide you with the knowledge of computer hardware, networking and operating systems that you need to progress in the Technical Support area of Computing. In order to help improve your skills Vendor certification is an option included in the course. Successfully completing this course allows you to be eligible for progression onto the HND Computing: Technical Support at level 7.

- Maths for Interactive Computing
You will be able to apply for entry level jobs in: network administration server administration security administration identity and access management desktop deployment desktop support. It will also allow progression to the Microsoft Certified Professional Qualifications that are available at HN level.
Year 1 of an HND Computing: Technical Support
One of the following:
A minimum of 5 National 5 awards (or equivalent), preferably including Computer Science, Mathematics and English.
Applicants who do not meet these criteria, but have relevant experience or alternative qualifications, will be considered.An interview and skills test may form part of the selection process.
