Pathway to Social Care
Working in a social care setting can provide a rewarding career choice. This course develops specialist knowledge, understanding and skills required to provide high quality support for a wide range of adults and young people. It provides opportunities to gain the formal qualifications needed to progress to the HNC Social Services.
- Social care assistant
- Health and social care worker
- Progression onto HNC Healthcare Practice or HNC Social Services
Mandatory:
- Successful interview
Plus one of the following:
- Four National 5 awards including English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Successful completion of all assessments within NC Child, Health and Social Care
- Applicants who do not meet these criteria, but have relevant paid workplace experience, or alternative qualifications will be considered
