  • Introduction to Computing (Schools)

    ***PLEASE NOTE - only pupils who will be at school during session 2024/25 can apply for this course***

    This one-year course is open to pupils in S4 and S5 and is an ideal first step for anyone considering a career in the IT industry.  

    Students gain experience in a mixture of the different specialities within computing, including technical support, software development, cyber security and networking.

    The deadline for applications is Friday 19 April 2024 but early applications are encouraged.

  • Introduction to Floristry

    Students in this course will be guided through the steps required to construct various floral designs. Students will be issued with a list of materials to bring each week and then there will be a demonstration on how to create a variety of arrangements. The course offers the opportunity to learn a new skill and make new friends.

  • Life Drawing & Painting Summer Workshop

    A 2 day life drawing and painting workshop with a life model and Tutor Fiona Van Baardwick at the award winning Stirling Campus, suitable for beginners and those looking to improve their skills.

  • Mental Health Award (SCHOOLS)

    This course has been designed to provide accurate information, promote understanding and equip learners with positive coping strategies to improve and maintain mental health and wellbeing.

    The award aims to:

    • Reduce stigma surrounding mental health
    • Arm young people with healthy coping strategies
    • Promote knowledge of the impact of mental health on behaviour
    • Dispel myths surrounding mental health
    • Promote understanding of positive and negative impacts on mental health
    • Help individuals to make the right choice
    • Promote understanding of the potential uses and impact of social media and the internet
      create resilience

  • NC Professional Cookery (Schools)

    This course is aimed at pupils who are looking to pursue a career in cookery.  This National Certificate helps to develop basic skills in professional cookery and focuses on practical activities such as cookery processes and techniques, working safely, food hygiene and food preperation techniques.
