Two groups of young apprentice plumbers from the Forth Valley area recently completed three BPec renewable energy courses to enhance their skills and ready them for their future careers.
In total 21 apprentices have attended the three courses: Ground Source Heat Pumps, Unvented Hot Water and Water Byelaws at the specialised Renewables Training Centre based at Forth Valley College’s, state-of-the-art Falkirk Campus, under the guidance of experienced lecturers Steven Adams and Harry Hunter.
Steven, said: “It was great to see these young apprentice plumbers complete these new courses, as they will need these valuable skills as the heating needs of society changes. They are now in a good position to progress in their careers.”
Harry, added: “Here at Forth Valley College we have the training expertise and the superb facilities to equip tradespeople and engineers of the future, with the knowledge they will need to maintain and install the heating technologies of today and tomorrow.
