HNC Applied Sciences (Schools)

The HNC Applied Biological Sciences is a general science qualification intended for those wishing to find employment in the science industries or to progress to further study at HND level. It is a broad course providing students with knowledge and skills related to biological, chemical and physical sciences. Students will also develop a wide range of practical laboratory skills in addition to gaining an understanding of good laboratory practice.

The deadline for applications is Friday 19 April 2024 but early applications are encouraged.

- NC Applied Science
- Foundation Apprenticeship in Scientific Technologies and a further Higher at grade C or above
- An appropriate group of National Qualification units
- A minimum of two Highers at grade C or above (to include Biology or Chemistry)

Preference will be given to applicants with a strong science background
