This course is for young people from S4 with English as a Second Language at level 4 who are looking to improve work towards an SQA award and/or exam at National 4, 5 or Higher.
Young people from all over the local authority are able to come together and gain confidence whilst working alongside others with similar shared experiences.
Enrolment onto this course is made through referrals from the school, so please contact your Support for Learning department for more details.
The deadline for applications is Friday 19 April 2024 but early applications are encouraged.
Young people will work towards an SQA National 4, 5 or Higher award. They will work towards every day and academic language, with an emphasis on National awards.
They are also given a chance to take part in college activities and ca be supported to apply for other college courses or suitable opportunities.
