NC Professional Cookery (Schools)

This course is aimed at pupils who are looking to pursue a career in cookery.  This National Certificate helps to develop basic skills in professional cookery and focuses on practical activities such as cookery processes and techniques, working safely, food hygiene and food preperation techniques.

The deadline for applications is Friday 19 April 2024 but early applications are encouraged.

Pupils will complete 12 SQA credits at SCQF (5)- The units are largely focused on professional cookery processes and techniques.

This course can lead onto a career in a range of hospitality establishments, inlcuding restaurants, cafe's or catering outlets.

Level 2 Professional Cookery (Full time)

NC Bakery (Full time)

4 x Nat 4 including English and Match, preferabbly working towards Nat 5's. A strong interest in Cookery is also essential.
