NC Sound Production

This course provides an exciting introduction to the world of sound production, preparing you for higher levels of study in this area while equipping you with the fundamental skills for a career across a wide range of music, broadcast and audio visual production industries. You will learn in our state of the art recording studios and sound lab facilities using industry standard equipment while developing knowledge and skills in industry standard practice and techniques.

  • Year 1 of an HND in Sound Production or a related field

One of the following:

  • Three National 4 awards (or equivalent)
  • Successful completion of a relevant access course or an appropriate group of National Qualification units
  • Applicants who do not meet these criteria, but have relevant experience or alternative qualifications, will be considered

• If your application is successful, you will be invited for interview. For January start courses interviews will be in Nov/Dec and interviews for August start courses will take place between February and May
• If your application is unsuccessful, you will be offered support in finding a suitable alternative course
