NQ Introduction to Business & Administration

This introductory course will develop a broad range of skills and understanding related to business, administration and finance, which will equip students with the necessary skills to undertake employment in a variety of organisations, or to make informed decisions about the next steps for further study.

  • This programme will prepare learners for a range of entry level positions within a modern business environment

  • Students who successfully complete this course may be given the opportunity to progress to NQ Business Management with Digital Technologies, NC Accounting or other relevant courses within the College.

One of the following:

  • Three passes at National 3/4 Level or three passes at Intermediate 1 Level
  • Successful completion of an access course or group of units at SCQF Level 3/4
  • Applicants whose first language is not English should hold IELTS at 5 or an appropriate ESOL qualification

• If your application is successful, you will be invited for interview. For January start courses interviews will be in Nov/Dec and interviews for August start courses will take place between February and May
• If your application is unsuccessful, you will be offered support in finding a suitable alternative course
• Applicants who provide a mobile phone number on their application form will be sent a text reminder prior to the day of interview
