Our Alloa Campus is located on Devon Road in the heart of the town.
This state-of-the-art campus opened in 2011 with Business, Construction, Access and Progression, Care and Salon Services is the curriculum focus for the Campus. This regional approach ensures that the courses offered at our Alloa Campus are tailored for jobs most sought after in the Clackmannanshire area.
The Alloa Campus is easily accessible by car, however, it has limited car parking facilities. There are excellent public transport services to the campus and bicycle stands and secure cycle lockers are available.
An innovative Facilities Management Training workshop – developed through partnership with FES FM – is one of the main features of the Alloa Campus. However, a busy Hair and Beauty Training Salon – which is open to the public - is also a great facility.
The Campus also has two well-equipped construction workshops focusing on building and plumbing skills. A fully equipped simulated nursery allows Early Education students to perfect their skills in these areas.
Forth Valley College has a strong focus on promoting active travel to staff and learners. For help planning your route by bike or on foot, please access the Scotbug handy tool.
Bicycle stands and secure cycle lockers are available at our Alloa Campus. To get access to the lockers, please ask at the welcome desk on campus in the first instance.
Interested in cycling but not sure if you’re fit enough? Contact our experts at our ‘fitness @ the campus’ gyms. Changing facilities and showers are also available at this campus.
The College also has a Scotbug Cycling blog to support staff and learners travelling to college by bike. It offers information on routes, cycling events and a place to connect with fellow cyclists.
There are excellent public transport services to our Alloa Campus. The most up-to-date information regarding routes and timetables can be found by visiting the First Bus website.
Travelling by train is environmentally friendly and can reduce the stress and issues which can arise from driving. Visit the National Rail website for service and timetable information.
Students will be eligible for cheaper tickets from First Bus. Please visit the First Bus website for full information about student fares in the Forth Valley region.
If you are aged 16, 17 or 18 years old you can also use a Young Scot National Entitlement Card (NEC) to get cheaper travel. To find out how to get your card, visit the Young Scot website.
There are limited car parking facilities. When using our car parks, please adhere to our Car Park Management Policy and only park in designated car parking bays. Please note there is a 10mph speed limit within the campus grounds.
