Cycling is a popular mode of active travel, and a great way to commute to our campuses.  

Our campuses benefit from a great range of cycling routes nearby and we have a variety of facilities available to those choosing to cycle to campus.

Campus Facilities

We have a range of facilities across all our campuses to enhance safety and convenience, and to ensure a better commuting experience for staff and students.

Bike Lockers

We have individual bike lockers outside across all campuses, which are available with completion of a user agreement and a returnable deposit.

Storage Lockers

We have individual lockers inside the building at every campus to store belongings.  Heated lockers are also available in Falkirk and Stirling for daily use. 

Changing Facilities

We have changing facilities for use at all campuses, located near our gym facilities. 

Showers

Showers are available at all campuses in the changing facilities.  Hairdryers are also available.  There are also GHD straighteners at the Falkirk Campus. 

Bike Maintenance

Our Active Travel Team work with a range of partners to provide advice and services in regards to bike maintenance.

This includes regular Dr Bike and Bike Maintenance events to help with a range of issues from puncture repair to replacing a chain.

Emergency maintenance kits are also available at all reception desks.

Led Rides

The Active Travel Team regularly organise for Cycle Scotland trained ride leaders to hold social rides around our three campuses.

Those taking part can bring along their own bike or try one of the e-bikes available.
