This combined method of assessment includes participation in group or practical activities, followed by an individual interview with a member of the teaching or course team. Together, these elements are designed to give a well‑rounded view of your suitability for the course.
The group or practical assessments allow you to demonstrate how you work with others, apply your skills in real or simulated scenarios, and respond to challenges relevant to the subject area. The individual interview then provides an opportunity to discuss your academic background, interests, and career aspirations in more detail.
By using both approaches, the college can gain a fuller understanding of your academic ability, interpersonal and communication skills, and personal motivation, helping to ensure that the course is the right fit for you and that you are well prepared to succeed.
