Access to Science - Level 4
This course will start students on the road to becoming a lab technician or studying science at a further level. Using state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, this course provides valuable experience, knowledge and technical skills for working in a laboratory environment. There is a strong emphasis on the development of good technical lab skills through practical work, lectures and case studies.
This course enables students to advance onto Nat 5 level and then Higher, progressing on to HNC, HND or degree level study and to secure employment in science-related industry sectors.

- Successful completion of the Nat4 Access to science will result in a place on the Access to Science level 5.
