City & Guilds Professional Cookery - Level One
This course will provide an introduction to culinary principles and skills, stressing the importance of health, safety, and hygiene. This course includes the preparation and cooking of a variety of foods and cookery processes to get you started in your culinary career. You will be based in either Stirling or Falkirk refectory, preparing and serving meals to hundreds of students and staff daily. Please note this is a practical course, and you will be training 3 days per week.
It will develop employability skills as candidates will study in an industry-standard environment.

- No formal requirements are required, but an interest in cookery is essential. You also need to complete a successful interview.
