Introduction to Carpentry & Joinery - Online
This flexible, self-directed online course introduces you to the key theory and underpinning knowledge in carpentry and joinery. It is designed to help learners, pre-apprentices, or anyone interested in the trade to build confidence and understanding before progressing to further study or training.
Alongside text and visual resources, you will also have access to short demonstration videos covering essential tools, joints, door fitting techniques, and finishing joinery such as skirting boards.
There are no practical workshop tasks in this course – it is focused on theory and context. However, the learning will support your progression into hands-on training.
Applicants for this course must reside in Scotland.
