City & Guilds Floristry (Level 2) - Evening
This course can help you to improve the skills you need to work as a florist. You will develop skills in areas such as plant care, flower arranging and how to create floral decorations in a variety of styles.
This course is suitable for applicants aged 16 or over.

Materials Required
- Students are required to provide flowers and materials for this course. All students will receive an email with this information the week before their course starts.
Content
- An introduction to art and design for florists
- Identify, check and monitor the quality of incoming cut materials
- Plan, prepare and construct tied floristry designs
- Floristry arrangements
Career Paths
- Students can secure employment in a florists or set up as a self-employed florist for events.
Entry requirements
- Completion of Level 1 City and Guilds Floristry (or equivalent) or relevant industry experience.

Student Paying Fees
Fees of less than £150 must be paid in full. Payment by instalment is available, provided the course fee is £150 or greater. You can access a direct debit form here.
Instalments must be paid via direct debit over a 4-month period and an initial 30% deposit is required in order to secure your place. You will not be able to apply online if paying by direct debit please contact Evening Admissions - eveninginfo@forthvalley.ac.uk.
Employer Paying Fees
If your employer is paying for your tuition fees, an Employers Agreement Form or letter from your employer must be submitted prior to or on enrolment. You can access the Employer Agreement Form here. We ask that you complete the Employer Agreement Form and return via email to - eveninginfo@forthvalley.ac.uk.
Please also be aware that if you do not meet the residency requirements to be assessed as a home fee student, you may be required to pay a higher fee rate. For evening courses, this rate is double the home fee advertised.
