Our Support and Guidance Advisors can support you finding the right course. They’ll be able to point you in the right direction based on your future career aspirations, skills and strengths, qualifications and experience. They can also refer you to an external advice agency, such as Skills Development Scotland.
Choosing the right career is one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make. Luckily, you can access a wide range of information and advice at the College to help you make the right choice. Our Support and Guidance Advisors will be happy to chat about your options and steer you in the right direction.
Alternatively, you can also book an appointment with one of the specialist Careers Advisors from Skills Development Scotland who visit our campuses each week. They can assist with researching career choices, advising on the skills and qualifications you will need for specific careers and roles, job hunting, writing the perfect CV, completing applications and preparing for interviews.
If you are planning to apply to university upon completion of your course, our Support and Guidance Advisors can provide information and advice on the UCAS application process. You will find all the information that you need on the UCAS application process on Moodle.

Our articulation links provide clear pathways from an HNC/HND programme to a university degree and often offer students direct entry into the 2nd or 3rd year of a degree course. Your lecturer should be able to provide more information on specific articulation links related to your course or area of study.
