If you are aged 16 or over, live in Scotland and earn £25,000 per annum or less, you can apply for a Part-time Fee Grant from the Scottish Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS).
This grant can be used towards the cost of your tuition fees. The grant awarded will depend on the qualification you are studying and the number of credits you are working towards.
You should be studying at HN Level or above (SCQF Levels 7-10) and be aiming to complete between 30 – 119 SCQF credits in each year of your course.
You must also be studying at a Scottish Institution and meet the required residency criteria.
You will not be eligible if you are in receipt of full-time student support from SAAS or other government training schemes such as Individual Learning Accounts, the Employability Fund and the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme.
