One-to-One Support

If you are accessing support from a Learning Support Advisor (LSA), you may be referred to one of our Learning Skills and Resource Assistants (LSRA) who work in our Learning Resource Centres. Our LSRAs can help you with a range of areas:

  • Study support in one-to-one or small groups
  • Training in the use of specialist equipment or assistive technology/software to help with reading, writing and study skills
  • Assessment and exam preparation and advice
  • Assessment arrangements e.g. invigilate when you need extra time or scribe for you
  • Proof-reading and training on how to proof-read your own work

This service is currently only available to students with additional support needs but we will be looking to expand this service over the next year to open it up to the wider student population If you feel that you could benefit from this type of support, please get in touch with the team.
