A new batch of stylish murals from David Crossley – a professional artist and one of Forth Valley College’s Additional Support Worker’s – has appeared on the walls of Grangemouth.
David has once again put his public art creative talent to good use by spray painting a design for the Kerse Road and Charlotte Dundas Court Mural Project.
Based mainly in the Stirling Campus, David has built up a popular reputation for producing engaging public art, completing previous murals in Grangemouth recently and designs for the Glasgow’s Maggie’s Scottie Dog Trail.
David said: “It's been both a pleasure and a genuine honour to have been invited to be part of the Kerse Road and Charlotte Dundas Court mural project.
“As a local mural artist, opportunities like this mean a great deal to me. Being able to use my creativity to contribute something positive to the community, celebrate our local identity and help transform everyday spaces into something colourful and inspiring is exactly why I started my mural journey.
“I believe public art has the power to bring people together, create a sense of pride and give places their own unique character.
“To be involved in a project that will become part of the local landscape, and hopefully be enjoyed by residents and visitors for years to come, is something I'm incredibly proud of.
“For me, mural painting is about more than putting paint on a wall. It's about telling stories, celebrating communities and leaving something that can be enjoyed for years to come.”
