Make-up Artistry students show their work

HND Make-up Artistry students have been showing off their skills in the Falkirk Campus at their end of term exhibition.

As they approach the end of their term just before the Easter break, the students from the creative course always put on a show to demonstrate their particular styles and to help them complete an important section of their qualification.

Two groups – year 1 and Year 2 – mentored by lecturers Linda Hughes and Tracey Ritchie, showcased their growing skills and expertise, by enlisting student friends to act as models for their work.

Year 1:

Year 2

Lecturer Linda Hughes, said: “It was great to see both HND Makeup Artistry year one and two demonstrate their work at an exhibition that was held at the Falkirk Campus.  I know students put a lot of time and effort into the creation of their looks to include special effects, hair and make-up, costumes and backdrops. Both groups excelled in the production their total looks and enjoyed the interaction with the public who came along to see them. Well done to all.”
