Hairdressing Students Celebrate Graduation in Style

Friday 30th May 2025

City & Guilds VRQ Hairdressing Level Three students gathered in the salon for a morning of celebrations recently as they marked the end of their course with a special graduation ceremony.

The group, who have spent the last year refining their skills and working with real clients in the commercial salon, were presented with certificates and awards in front of their lecturers and classmates.

Representatives from Wella joined the event, delivering a presentation and offering advice and inspiration as they prepare to take their next steps into the hair and beauty industry.

Lecturer Nicola Mackenzie said: “It’s always a proud moment to see students complete their course and get ready to move into their career. They’ve all worked really hard to get through their assessments this year and we are all extremely proud of every one of them.”

The event rounded off a rewarding year for the students, many of whom now plan to move into salon work or start their own business.
