Award winners were announced on Thursday 21 May as Forth Valley Student Association (FVSA) celebrated achievements and success across the College.
The Student Awards ceremony was held at the Forth Valley College’s Stirling Campus from 6-8pm, where a buffet was served to the attending guests. FVSA’s Student President and Vice President took centre stage to provide opening remarks and present the awards, and FVC Principal Kenny MacInnes was also invited to say a few words at the start of the ceremony.

FVSA team Martin Podhorsky FVSA Student President, Monika Smith FVSA Vice President, Kasia Slapek FVSA Student Engagement Coordinator, Cara Captain, FVSA Administrator and Lisa Baxter FVC’s Student Association and University Partnership Manager were all in attendance, as well as former Principal Professor Ken Thomson, who attended in his capacity as Vice Lord Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk.
Current students from Sound Production, and Hospitality and Events Management, Art and Design courses were on hand to make sure the awards evening went as it should, and a piper from the Alloa Bowmar Pipe Band - William Lunn – piped in invited guests in before the start.
The Exhibition on display showcased art from across all departments including exciting work from Art and Design, Painting and Decorating, STEM and Construction students.

All of the winners were presented with an engraved glass award and a certificate. The runners up in each category were also presented with a certificate.
