Introduction to Strength & Conditioning for Women - Evening
This six-week programme for women provides a practical introduction on how to lift free weights safely and correctly – with a focus on how to execute the clean and jerk lift. By introducing free weights to your fitness regime, participants will develop core strength, power, flexibility and coordination. The use of free weights can be very technical and daunting for many, however if executed properly, it is a great way to tone muscles and make the body leaner - improving your overall fitness, which may also support the prevention of osteoporosis.

• Back Squat
• Front Squat
• Deadlift
• Clean Pull
• High Pull
• Push Press
• Split Jerk
• Clean
• Combination lifts targeting CV fitness
Entry requirements
No formal entry requirements. However, applicants must be over 16 years old.
