STEM - Summer Club

This course is a hugely popular activity for young people aged 12-14 years.

The STEM Summer Club 2026 will follow a similar format to previous years and will run from 9.30am - 3.30pm at our Falkirk Campus

Since it began in 2016, more than 100 young people have taken part in a range of STEM learning activities and had the opportunity to achieve the CREST Bronze Award - a fantastic outcome.
The award introduces students to STEM project work, allowing them to work individually or as part of a team. It involves around 10 hours of project activity, followed by a final project report. The award encourages students to think and work like real scientists, engineers, or technologists.

In 2017, INEOS became the main sponsor and this includes a site visit to INEOS HQ in Grangemouth, providing young people with an invaluable insight into STEM careers.

Note - Online Booking for this course is currently unavailable. This year, we are asking parents/carers to complete an interactive enrolment form to book a place. The booking process and enrolment form can be found here.

A completion of a 200 word personal statement on "Why I want to do a Summer Club" is required to process your application. Please submit this along with your enrolment form to eveninginfo@forthvalley.ac.uk
