Heart Start - Evening
Come along and join this free 2 hour Heartstart Session (6-8pm). Please note that places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If booking on behalf of someone else, please ensure to use the participant's name. Participants will receive a recognised certificate on completion of the course.
The course is suitable for all ages and covers a range of Emergency Life Support Skills (ELS) including:
- Dealing with an unconscious casualty
- Cardiac arrest
- Suspected heart attack
- Serious bleeding
This course is ideal for those looking for basic first aid skills or thinking about progressing onto the First Aid at Work course, allowing them to become a qualified work place First Aider.
Participants are encouraged to progress onto FVC's First Aid at Work Course providing them with the skills and qualification to meet the standard required by the Health & Safety Executive to become a recognised workplace First Aider.
No formal entry requirements. The course is open to the public - participants must be aged 10 years old or above. Children under 16 years-of-age must be accompanied by an adult.
