Hospitality Operations - Level 5

This exciting course will provide candidates with a clear understanding of the role and application of the skills required in the hospitality sector. The course focuses on developing the practical skills necessary to thrive in the industry, including food and beverage service, barista, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and customer care.

This course will act as a pathway into employment or progression onto our HND Hospitality Management programme (SCQF 7).

  • This qualification is set at SCQF level 5 and is made up of a range of units, including
  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Barista Skills
  • Food and Beverage Operations
  • Non-alcoholic Beverages

  • Front of House Roles such as Server, Host, Bartender

  • HND Hospitality Management

 

One of the following:

  • Four National 4 qualifications at C or above, preferably maths and english
  • Relevant work experience within the sector

• If your application is successful, you will be invited for interview. For January start courses interviews will be in Nov/Dec and interviews for August start courses will take place between February and May
• If your application is unsuccessful, you will be offered support in finding a suitable alternative course
