National 5 Mathematics - Evening
This course provides students with a solid foundation in essential mathematical concepts and skills. It covers topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics, aiming to develop problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning. Students will learn to apply mathematical techniques to real-life situations, interpret and analyse data, and perform calculations accurately. This course prepares students for higher-level mathematical studies, including Higher Mathematics, and equips them with the quantitative skills necessary for a wide range of vocational and academic pathways.
This course will run two evenings per week on a Tuesday and Thursday.

- Pass at National 4 or Intermediate 1 level required for entry to National 5.

Student Paying Fees
Fees of less than £150 must be paid in full. Payment by instalment is available, provided the course fee is £150 or greater. You can access a direct debit form here.
Instalments must be paid via direct debit over a 4-month period and an initial 30% deposit is required in order to secure your place. You will not be able to apply online if paying by direct debit please contact Evening Admissions - eveninginfo@forthvalley.ac.uk.
Employer Paying Fees
If your employer is paying for your tuition fees, an Employers Agreement Form or letter from your employer must be submitted prior to or on enrolment. You can access the Employer Agreement Form here. We ask that you complete the Employer Agreement Form and return via email to - eveninginfo@forthvalley.ac.uk.
Fee Waiver
Some students may be eligible for a tuition fee waiver if in receipt of certain types of benefits. Fee waiver evidence must be submitted either before or upon enrolment. Refer to our Tuition and Fee Waiver Policy for further information.
