HND Beauty Therapy

This course is designed to give students a professional qualification recognised by the beauty industry. Students will develop skills in relation to a wide range of facial, body, aesthetic and complementary therapies.

They will also gain in-depth product knowledge and be able to offer clients lifestyle advice. Other topics covered include nail enhancements and spa treatments. As part of the programme, students get the opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience through working in the College’s commercial salon.

  • NC Beauty Care (Level 6)
  • SVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates must be at least 17 years of age
  • Selection will be by interview and a research task
  • Students will be required to purchase relevant items of equipment and clothing

• If your application is successful, you will be invited for interview. For January start courses interviews will be in Nov/Dec and interviews for August start courses will take place between February and May
• If your application is unsuccessful, you will be offered support in finding a suitable alternative course
