NC Industrial Automation (Measurement and Control)

This course will provide candidates with an introduction to a range of measurement and control engineering skills that are relevant to automated industries that use robotics and Industry 4.0 and process control industries. 

Successful completion of the course will enable candidates to progress to advanced level study or find employment in a range of engineering sectors (e.g. oil and gas, automated manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, medical, energy generation, food and drink).

One of the following:

  • Three National 5 awards (or equivalent) including English, Mathematics, Technology or a science subject (preferably Physics)
  • Successful completion of a relevant access course or an appropriate group of National Qualification units at SCQF Level 5
  • Applicants who do not meet these criteria, but have relevant experience or alternative qualifications will be considered

  • Selection by a two stage interview process
