BEng Chemical Engineering (University of Aberdeen)
Associate Degree: BEng Chemical Engineering incorporating HND Chemical Process Technology
Our accredited Chemical Engineering programme with the University of Aberdeen offers students the opportunity to combine the theoretical aspects of chemistry and chemical engineering, with the principles and practices relevant to the modern chemical and process industries.
Students will spend their first two years at Forth Valley College’s state-of-the-art Falkirk Campus completing a HND in Chemical Process Technology.
Students will then progress to the University of Aberdeen onto the BEng Chemical Engineering for years three and four, with all students being guaranteed free accommodation.
The University’s location in Aberdeen, the energy capital of Europe, and their strong industry links means that you will have the opportunity to engage with both the local upstream oil and gas industry and with the latest developments in the energy transition through the School of Engineering’s work in energy from biomass, energy conversion and storage, biorefinery and the production of chemicals from biomass.
If you are interested in chemical reactions and understanding how the physical properties of matter can be harnessed to create world-changing technologies, then you should consider Chemical Engineering at Aberdeen and Forth Valley College.
