This course will help you to acquire a solid awareness and understanding of accounting principles and practices, giving you the necessary skillset to progress on to degree level study, or into a modern workplace

Upon completion of this qualification, you may choose to:

  • Take up employment in a related field

    Please note articulation links are subject to change and do not guarantee a place on any university course. Students can still apply for entry to year one or two of many of these degree programmes and should check with individual universities for more detail. Each institution will have specific entry requirements.

One of the following:

  • Two Highers at grade C or above in relevant subject areas
  • Successful completion of a relevant access programme or an appropriate group of National Qualification units
  • Applicants who do not meet these criteria, but have relevant work experience or alternative qualifications, will be considered

Additional Requirements:

  • Final selection is subject to a successful discussion with the Curriculum Manager or member of the teaching team (this may be over email or telephone) and satisfactory references, where appropriate

• If your application is successful, you will be invited for interview. For January start courses interviews will be in Nov/Dec and interviews for August start courses will take place between February and May
• If your application is unsuccessful, you will be offered support in finding a suitable alternative course
