Gregor Boyd (33) from Tullibody valued his time studying for the BA Digital Media at Forth Valley College.
He said: “I’d been at FVC previously when I was 17 and attempted to go back several times in the decade that followed but struggled to find the right course. Then I discovered my passion for photography, took the opportunity with that and then found myself somehow two years later doing a BA in Digital Media.
“The lecturers were all superb, I can’t praise them enough for the work they do. They’re really undervalued and deserve more than just praise.
“I’d absolutely encourage people to consider further education. It’s going to sound super boring but being a mature student and actually wanting to learn stuff, from my time previously at 17, I didn’t really feel like I was valuing my time there and gaining any skills. But as I got older, I realized how valuable this opportunity was to be able to learn new stuff.
“I’d recommend choosing College as it’s a great opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.”
