Our Active Campus Coordinator, Dean Mckirdy, is here to create fun, inclusive opportunities for staff and students of all abilities to enjoy a wide range of sports and activities across Forth Valley College.
Possessing a great passion for sport in general as well as helping others develop their sporting skills helps Dean thrive in this role. Dean has played football since the moment he could walk and grew up playing more sports including tennis, badminton, volleyball and most recently winning a regional bowls trophy.
Outside of playing sports Dean also has a huge love of watching football and travelling around the world doing so. Being a Clyde fan and attending games throughout Scotland on a weekly basis as well as watching Scotland international games both at home and away. The World Cup in 2026 will be next on the bucket list!
