Rhona is a qualified solicitor and worked for many years in this field before moving to a senior management position in Falkirk Council in 2000. She held this position until her retirement in 2020. This involved managing a large service within the council as well as being a member of the Council’s Corporate Management Team. During that time, Rhona also was involved in a number of national groups to ensure public sector resilience, including during the COVID pandemic.
Rhona has particular interest in the criticality of good governance to organisations and the role of effective audit in its pursuit.
She holds an Llb degree from the University of Glasgow and, whilst practising law was also a Notary Public.
