Emma has served over 20 years in leadership roles across the public and Third Sector in community sport and leisure and urban regeneration settings. As the former Managing Director of Raploch Urban Regeneration Company Emma has extensive knowledge and experience in economic development and creating inclusive skills pathways for marginalised groups into regional growth sectors.
More recently, Emma has worked with City Region and Rural Growth Deals supporting Deal partners to use capital spending to tackle inequalities and deliver social value for communities. As a passionate advocate for good governance, public sector reform and supporting improved outcomes for communities, Emma served as a Trustee on the Board of Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise, Stirling’s Third Sector Interface, for 9 years with the final 2 years as Chair.
Emma has a degree in Chemistry with Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Heriot Watt University.
